Hamilton, Ontario, Cananda, Oct. 27-30
It was the first international meeting of the IAS held across the border in Hamilton, Ontario. The four-day agenda showcased presentations by native artists (two from the Arctic and one from Labrador) and academics along with a full-day field trip to locations in Hamilton, Mississauga and Toronto.
Special thanks to program chair, Janet Beylin, current IAS president and Hamilton residents Gene Hanson and Irene Schieberl for their help with all of the planning.

- Call the hotel: 1.905.528.3451.
- Ask for the "Special Reservations Group" and reference the Inuit Art Society.
- Ensure you are given the $109 group rate which is available for the evenings of Oct 27-29 (Thurs-Sat).
- Request an email confirmation.

If you fly, the hotel is:
- 9 miles from Hamilton International Airport.
The hotel does not provide shuttle service. - 40 miles from Pearson International Airport (Toronto).
- Amenities: Free internet, fitness center with indoor pool, business center, variety of dining facilities.
- Parking: $8 (Canadian) per day directly adjacent to the hotel
Saturday Dinner
The hotel will also be the site of the traditional Saturday night IAS group dinner.
