Inuit Art Society’s Internet Privacy Policy

Any and all personally identifiable information collected at by the Inuit Art Society will be kept confidential and will not be sold, rented, leased, loaned, traded or otherwise disclosed except as otherwise required by law. The Inuit Art Society website is directed at persons over the age of 18 and it does not knowingly collect personal information from or about minors under the age of 18.

This policy only relates to the Inuit Art Society’s collection and use of personally identifiable information. The Inuit Art Society is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of promotional affiliates or other third parties to whom it may provide links. The Inuit Art Society does not have control over the privacy policies applied by any other party to whom information is disclosed when linking to or from If information on any other party’s privacy policy is desired, please contact that party directly.

The Inuit Art Society employs standard industry measures to protect and ensure the confidentiality of personally identifiable information including the use of passwords, firewalls and Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) encryption. To utilize SSL encryption, it is necessary to utilize a browser that maintains 128bit encryption support. Despite these efforts, the Inuit Art Society cannot guarantee the security of personally identifiable information given the current state of the Internet.

From time to time, the Inuit Art Society may need to change this Privacy Policy because of changes in its business, or in its attempts to serve member and non-member needs better, or due to changes in regulations.
